Job description

Sahl is an exciting new product of Egypt Pay. Sahl provides a novel technology that enables customers to top-up their prepaid electricity meters using their mobile phones at any time in the comfort of their homes. The team is looking for talented and passionate people to create innovative and seamless payment experiences for the customers.

This Position is Responsible For

  • Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
  • Document financial transactions by entering account information
  • Perform timely account reconciliation by verifying entries and comparing to balances
  • Record, code, and process all invoices for payment
  • Maintain General Ledger
  • Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
  • Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
  • Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
  • Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
  • Maintain financial security by following internal controls
  • Prepare payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements
  • Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
  • Comply with local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions
  • Prepare special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends


Job requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in accounting or finance
  • Comfortable with MS Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational/time management skills and multi-tasking abilities
  • CPA (preferred)
